“When I went to college, I met a new group of friends and looked back on my high school experience and realized how much time I had wasted trying to make something of myself.”

“Before graduation I decided to move out of the apartment I was sharing with my best friend and move back home. My parents had recently separated and I wanted to return home with my mother and siblings.”

“Looking back, I can truly say that I am truly grateful that my parents sheltered us from the public eye. It may seem like an easy task, but perhaps the hardest thing for them to figure out as parents is how to give their children a normal childhood, even if they are always in the spotlight.

“Shopping is a great way to bond with girls, but it definitely makes us focus on our bodies and compare ourselves to others. Something that should be fun with girls can turn into an uncomfortable experience.”

“My father is Arnold Schwarzenegger, the governor of California, and yes, he was the Terminator! He is also a former Mr. Universe and Mr. Olympia, having won two medals as a champion bodybuilder.”

“I played sports and went to camp when I was younger. As I grew older, my parents began to instill in us the importance of giving back to the community, especially places around the world that are less fortunate than my privileged life growing up in Los Angeles.”

“Most people feel weird about white heels, but I love them and wear them with everything, especially when I need to wear a black dress.”

“I’m excited to work with 360, not only because I love everything they create, but because each collection always includes the key things I look for.”

“Learning to love my inner and outer beauty was not an easy road. I still hate my reflection in the mirror, but I’ve learned that my appearance doesn’t define me.”

“My everyday shoes are either my white Converse that I’ve had since high school or my black Alexander McQueen flats with a skull on them. It depends on my day. “

“I graduated high school, and I did an internship at Dove in their public relations department because I thought I wanted to be in PR, which I didn’t. It was right when they were coming out with the Real Beauty campaign, so I got an inside view of the whole thing.”

“I love going to groups like Girl Scouts and talking to women, and it’s an honor to be able to work with them. For me, it’s always been about working hard and being able to help other people, which I’ve done with both of my books.”

“I’m really passionate about everything lifestyle-oriented, so that’s what I do on my website. I’m able to get other people to contribute to the website to create a kind of hub for people my age — the millennial generation.”

“For red-carpet events my shoes are always black, but I mix it up with my pointy stilettos and platform heels.”

“I love clothes that are fashionable but also have great lifestyle messages and 360 does just that – sweaters for women of all shapes and sizes and designed to make a woman feel beautiful and chic from the inside out.”

“My siblings and I grew up to be very hardworking and to find something we’re passionate about and be able to turn it into work – I’m lucky to say I’ve done it.”

Although Catherine Schwarzenegger was surrounded by wealth and popularity, her parents ensured that she had a normal childhood. And now she is successful on her own.
