coat

“I relate to characters that are inherently broken.”

“It’s great to be able to say that I’ve enjoyed every project I’ve been involved in so far. I feel extremely lucky. […] I like to play female characters who can stand on their own in a project, rather than just serving as a support for a male narrative.

“I am a perfectionist when it comes to preparing for jobs. When going into a project, I have to prepare. I spend a lot of time getting to know the script and my character. With this project, none of that was possible. I had to be okay with not having any control and just trusting the process and the brilliant minds in the room with me.”

“It’s one of the things I love about my job. You can be in LA one morning and Canada the next.”

“I never have to typecast myself and I can play all these different roles. When I was in school, I was told by many teachers that I should pigeonhole myself into something, and that always bothered me because I knew I wanted to do so many different types of roles and different genres—everything from TV to animation. .”

“I got interested in acting when I started watching Shirley Temple at a young age. I was obsessed with her. I looked like her and wanted to be her so I put myself in tap classes and voice and that opened doors for me.”

“I jumped into a local theater program and started performing at the age of 10. Theater has always been my bread and butter. I love being on stage and that’s what I ended up going to college for.”

“Each of them is strong in their own way, whether it’s Gotham’s villain, or Honeymaren standing up for what’s right in Northoldra, or Fiona trying to support another woman in her time of need. It’s a dream that I can look at all these projects right now and see how different they all are.”

Rachel Mathew may come from a family full of actresses and actors. However, she has reached the pinnacle of her name popularity with her hard work, skill and hard work.
