Ryan Higa partnered with a friend named Sean Fujiyoshi to create lip-syncing videos and post them on YouTube.

He started a channel called Nigahiga in July 2006, where he uploads humorous videos, skits and rants. Initially, they uploaded videos, but due to copyright, the videos were removed.

In August 2009, a YouTuber uploaded a short film called Ninja Ninja Melk. He teamed up with Wong Foo Productions to produce another short film titled Agents of Secret Content.

The name of his first song is Dong Saya Da viewed with over 16 million views and peaked at #2 on iTunes.
