The name ‘EVERGLOW’ itself is a short representation of ‘always being a shining group’ to show their strong energy, will and potential as a new group.

Most of them were contestants for some survival show, viz Product 101, Product 48, And also Idol School.

The agency, Yuehua Entertainment, then made a big announcement on February 17, 2019, about their next project to introduce a new K-pop girl group to the public.

A new girl group named EVERGLOW and Yuehua announced the members through the eponymous YouTube series Absurdity in film.

After a long wait, the group finally made their debut on March 18, 2019, releasing their debut EP. Arrival of Everglow with Bon Bon Chocolate as their lead track.
