Evan Fong, better known as VanossGaming, is a Canadian-Korean YouTube star, gamer, music producer and DJ.

He became famous after posting gaming videos on YouTube.

Evan Fong was studying Economics in college when he decided to start his Youtube channel in September 2011.

He named the channel VanossGaming. Through his channel, Evan started sharing video montages of popular games Black Ops 2, CODAnd GTA 5.

To focus on his YouTube career, this Canadian man decided to drop out of college in his second year. His parents were a little worried at first, but still supported him.

It turned out to be the right decision for Evan as he quickly gained a lot of attention. His gaming videos got a lot of views in no time.

In 2015, just 4 years after starting his channel, the YouTube star reached 10 million subscribers.

He attributed its success to its authenticity, stating that viewers could easily relate to regular people playing video games.

He also joined multi-channel network Jetpack in April of the same year.
