Lindsey Stirling is a popular American TikTok star, YouTube star, dancer, songwriter and violinist.

She rose to global fame as she posted choreographed violin performances on YouTube in live and music video form.

Career

Lindsey Stirling started learning how to play the violin when she was five years old.

When she was in high school, Lindsay joined a rock band called Stomp on Melvin and composed her solo violin rock song. She later won the titles of Junior Miss Arizona and Junior Miss America.

As she was also interested in dance, the violinist attended dance classes and incorporated dance into her violin performances.

In 2010, Lindsay joined America has talent and entered the quarter-finals. She continued to promote herself on the Internet by creating a YouTube channel called lindseystomp.
