Alexander Burris, or better known as Alex Wassabi, is an American YouTube star.

He became famous after uploading a parody video on YouTube.

Career

Alexander joined YouTube with his middle school friend Roi. Roi likes to make videos about his friends and later created Wasabi Productions.

He made videos about his family and friends and uploaded them to his channel called hooiitsroi, which was later changed to Wasabi.

However, since 2010, his friends including Rob, Drew and Matt have left the production, leaving Alex and Roi. Alex then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a YouTuber.

However, he continued to make videos. One of them is the Call Me Maybe parody which went viral and generated millions of views.

In 2016, Roi left Wasabi and formed his own gaming channel, called Guava Juice. He made lip-sync, funny videos and dance videos.
