Career

Inspired by his brother, Yoo Yeon Seok decided to become an actor by taking acting classes with his brother in Seoul.

While he was taking classes, he once met a friend who suggested he audition for a role in a 2003 film. Oldboy.

He then made a successful debut in that film but took a break until 2008 as he wanted to focus on his studies first.

After graduating from university, he returned to acting General Hospital 2 (2008), Midnight Hospital (2011), and Tasty life (2012).

His name became more popular after acting in Architecture 101 (2012), A werewolf boy (2012), and Drama Answer 1994 (2013).

Two years later, in 2015, he landed his first major role Warm and warmIt was written by the Jae Hong sisters.

Later he acted in plays Love, lies (2016) and Romantic Dr (2016) with Seo Hyun Jin and Han Suk Kyu.

2020 saw the success of his career when he played the role of Ahn Jeong Won. Hospital Playlist.

Two years later, in 2022, he acted is disappearingA crime mystery film directed by Denis Dercourt.
