Career

Born in Lagny-sur-Marne, a suburb of Paris, Paul Pogba got his taste for football when he received his formal education at the Roissy-en-Bree academy.

Finding his passion in football, he followed his father’s advice to pursue football for a living and pursue a career in football.

After spending seven seasons at the Roissy-en-Brie Academy, with the help of a family friend, his mother contacted US Torcy, the best youth club in the area.

He passed the trial in US Torsey and became the captain of the U-13 team. After spending one season with US Torsey, he moved to the big club Le Havre and captained the under-16 team.

His promising talent attracted Europe’s biggest clubs such as Juventus, Arsenal and Manchester United. He joined Manchester United’s academy in 2009.

He made his professional debut with Manchester United in 2011. The following year, he joined Juventus on a free transfer where he led the club to four consecutive Serie A titles and led Juventus to the 2015 UEFA Champions League Final.

His performances at Juventus earned him a return to Manchester United in 2016 and helped the club win the League Cup and Europa League.

After completing a transfer to Manchester United, he returned to Juventus in 2022 and broke the world record for a transfer fee.

He also contributed to the national team and captained the French team at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup.

He made his senior international debut a year later at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and represented France at UEFA Euro 2016.
