The actor recently revealed how the duffer brothers reacted to its right pitch for a spin-off. “We were on set filming Strange things four and we were all joking like, ‘Oh, they’re all going to have us back in 20 years,'” he said in a January 11 appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. “We’ll all be fat and old and say ‘Eleven, where are you?’ You know, that kind of thing.'”
“I thought, ‘Oh, but if they’re really going to do a spin-off, this should be it,” he continued. “I said it and the Duffers looked at each other and they looked at me and they said, ‘Can we talk to you for a second?'”
As Finn recalled, the show runners pushed him aside and said, “‘That’s the idea. Who told you that?'”
“I was like, ‘No one,'” she shared. “They said, ‘What do you mean you came up with?’ I was like, ‘Well, no, I just thought it would be a cool way to branch out.
