During the awards show broadcast on February 5, viewers noted that Aaron, who died on November 5 at the age of 34— was not included in your segment in memory. While Aaron it was recognized by the Recording Academy in a list shared online ahead of the ceremony, many of her supporters took to social media to air their grievances over the omission on stage.
“Shame on the 2023 Grammys!” a Twitter user wrote. “He was so multifaceted! A pop icon. How heartbreaking.”
